A diet that has been around for years in Europe is making news in the United States. Although controversial, the K-E diet is becoming extremely popular among brides to be trying to shed those last pounds. The K-E diet promises a person to lose 20 pounds in 10 days. This diet works by inserting a feeding tube through the noise into the stomach, feeding a constant slow drip of protein and fat, mixed with water, which contains zero carbohydrates and totals 800 calories a day. Although the side effects are low this diet is a controversial one because shedding too much weight too quickly is not safe and also may not last.
What happened to the days of eating healthy and taking the time to exercise? Most agree that the natural way of losing weight and staying healthy is for the best, some people will try almost anything to lose weight, whether healthy or not. Its understandable that people do not have the time to exercise or cook their own healthy meals, but some diets that come out just seem crazy.
